About
La Troupe Du Jamel Comedy Club is a stand-up comedy group based on Russell Simmons' Def Comedy Jam. The French comedian Jamel Debbouze bought the concept to France launched his own troupe in 2006. He recruited the best humorists from the Comic Street Show, on which artists have seven minutes to win over the audience. The troupe performs every Saturday and Sunday in Paris at Debbouze's theater, Le Comedy Club.
