Les Boulingrin, is a French comic play, in one act, written by the dramatist Georges Courteline (1858-1929). It was premiered, in the Theater du Grand-Guignol in February, 7th 1898, starring Ellen Andrée, famous comedian at that time. Courteline wrote the story of Mister Des Rillettes, a sponger, who is invited by the Boulingrin' family, for the tea. He believes he's found a good place to stay for the winter, but the hosts are a couple in crisis. Des Rillettes, is going to receive knocks and insults. But is it real? Or is it just a manipulation to get rid of him?
