Kolkata Knight Riders is one of the franchise cricket teams that compete in the IPL (Indian Premier League). It represents the city of Kolkata and it plays its home games at the city’s famous, Eden Gardens stadium. It was founded in 2008 and it is powered by terrific players like Eoin Morgan, Dinesh Karthik, Pat Cummins, Kuldeep Yadav and many more. The team became the title winners for the first time in 2012, where it locked horns with one of the IPL titans, Chennai Super Kings. The team re-created this grand success at the 2014 finals and took home their second title. It is also popular for the fierce rivalry it shares with Mumbai Indians.
