MTK Budapest FC, was formed in the district of Józsefváros, Hungary in 1888 and in 1903, it debuted in the country’s top tier football competition (Nemzeti Bajnokság). In the next year, the club won its first top-league title. This started an incredible legacy of victories that has not been broken for more than 100 years. The club has dominated the league for most of its history and has won the title many times. The multiple Hungarian cups to its name further adds to its reputation as one of the strongest forces in the game.
