Originally from Decatur, Illinois, Icon for Hire is a pop/punk band featuring Ariel Bloomer and Shawn Jump. They formed the band in 2007 and released a series of EPs until Scripted, their first album was released in 2011. Since then, they have steadily released new music and are a routinely seen at music festivals and national tours.
