About
Phil Cook, is a songwriter, interpreter and a multi-instrumentalist artist, from Eau Claire, WI. He was known to be the member of the freak-folk band Megafaun (2008-2012) and DeYarmond Edison (2002-2006). Several artists have used his talent for their album as,The Blind Boys of Alabama, Matthew E. White, Hiss Golden Messenger and Alice Gerrard (Grammy nominated in 2015 for her album, Follow The Music). Cook released his first solo album, Shouthand Mission, in a studio in the Blue Ridge Mountains, in 2015, with as track "Great Tide".
