Tommy Igoe is a jazz drummer who is best-known as the lead of the Tommy Igoe Groove Conspiracy. Taking elements of Latin pop, Brazilian jazz and punk, he crafts an up-beat, dance-worthy sound that has earned a critical acclaim among modern jazz critics. Besides releasing his own music and fronting his various bands, Igoe has recorded with legends like Lauryn Hill and Patti Austin. He's also tried his hand on Broadway, holding the drum chair on productions of the Lion King and even serving as assistant conductor.
