Hana Gabrielle Pestle, who is professionally recognized as HANA, is an American singer-songwriter and producer hailing from Los Angeles. She embarked on her musical journey in 2006, initially releasing acoustic-oriented projects, including her debut album, This Way, in 2009. In 2013, after collaborating with producer BloodPop, she transitioned to a focus on production and redefined her artistic identity as HANA, embracing a fresh electronic pop style. Her inaugural single under this new name, "Clay," debuted in 2015, followed by the release of her self-titled EP in 2016. HANA has gained recognition for her partnerships with Grimes, where she contributed as a backing vocalist and co-developed the AC!D Reign Chronicles video series. In 2019, she showcased the creation of her second album, Hanadriel, through a live stream on Twitch. Over the course of her career, she has produced numerous covers and collaborated with various artists, including Anamanaguchi, Gryffin, and Tchami. On a personal note, she became engaged to BloodPop in May 2023.
