Though English singer/songwriter Aleksandra Denton, who performs and releases music as Shura, has be making music in a collaborative capacity since 2011, she didn't emerge as a solo artist until 2014, with her debut single "Touch." With a unique style that bridges the gap between 1990s trip-hop and more modern indietronica material, Denton's innovative sound has helped bring her acclaim from critics in her native England as well as in the States.
