Omer Meir Wellber

Omer Meir Wellber is a classical conductor who has served as guest conductor at the Israeli Opera since 2009 and has also regularly performed at the Raanana Symphonette Orchestra. Beginning his musical training at the age of five, learning the accordion and piano, Wellber would eventually begin taking composition lessons at the age of nine and go on to study at the Be'er Sheva Conservatorie. Having since distinguished himself with a flamboyant and powerful style, Wellber is now regarded as one of Israeli's leading classical conductors.
