Australian singer Kita Alexander released her first EP, Like You Want Me To, in 2015, after successful appearance on Youtube that put her on the musical map. The album was written with members of the electronic music duo Empire of the Sun. In 2011 Kita Alexander dropped out of school and began doing small gigs in Australia, performing covers of Fleetwood Mac and Queen as well as her original songs. Lana Del Rey manager, Tim Manton, took her under his wing and helped her develop her music, a unique combination of slow, dreamy pop, and uplifting electropop.
