Yakari is a psychedelic rock band from Zurich that was founded in 2009. With an unpretentious approach to instrumental composition, Yakari might not impress listeners who are looking for virtuostic playing, but their relaxed sonic demeanor has an ability to disarm naysayers. Having become somewhat of a mainstay in its native Zurich garage rock scene, Yakari has also built a fairly strong following in Germany and France.
