Are You There Garth? It's Me, Margaret is a fictional account of one super-fan's reaction to Garth Brook's cancelled Dublin shows in 2014. When Margaret, a tired and bored housewife, learns her country music hero won't be playing her hometown, she is utterly devastated, so she decides to call him on the phone to commiserate about her mundane life and share her greatest hopes and dreams. The satirical drama premiered in Dublin in 2015.
