In 2012, guitarist and vocalist Hayden Boyd enlisted drummer Cody Bass and guitarist Travis Bass to form Dream Cult, which later expanded to include Salar Almakky and Justin Moreira. Dream Cult blends the catchy pop elements of 1980s music with the raw emotion of 1990s rock. Dream Cult released its first single "Breathe," in 2015 in anticipation of the band's debut LP.
