About
Violettes Impériales is a French operetta with music by Vincent Scotto and a book by Henri Varna, Paul Achard and Rene Jeanne. Set in Seville, Spain in 1852, the story follows a flower vendor named Violetta and a Lord named Count Juan Ascaniz, who fall in love at first sight. With outside forces threatening to keep the two apart, the show erupts with violence and conspiracies that wield unexpected results.
