2Cellos is a contemporary classical duo that bridges the worlds of virtuosic instrumentation and arrangement with pop music. Known for taking beloved pop and rock songs and transforming them into stunning pieces of classical music, the group developed a following in the UK before skyrocketing to international attention when its Youtube video cover of "Smooth Criminal" went viral in 2011. 2Cellos immediately grabbed the attention of Sony Masterworks, who signed the duo and released its eponymous debut album later the same year. 2Cellos has since continued to arrange everything from AC/DC's "Highway to Hell" and Coldplay's "Clocks," while touring internationally in support of records like the 2015 LP, Celloverse.
