Alexander Guy Cook is an English music producer and the founder of the PC Music label, established in 2013. He is recognized for his role in pioneering the hyperpop genre, which incorporates elements from 1990s and 2000s pop music. Cook has collaborated with various artists, including Hannah Diamond, Danny L Harle, and Sophie, and was instrumental in the creation of the project QT in 2014. His work as Charli XCX's creative director has garnered him significant acclaim, particularly as he served as the executive producer for her mixtapes Number 1 Angel and Pop 2 (2017), along with her albums Charli (2019) and How I'm Feeling Now (2020). In 2020, he released his debut albums, 7G and Apple, which led to him receiving the Variety Hitmakers Innovator of the Year Award. In 2022, Cook co-produced the song "All Up in Your Mind" by Beyoncé, which earned him a Grammy nomination. His label, PC Music, has represented over 20 artists and has played a crucial role in the evolution and popularization of hyperpop.
