The Dolly Rocker Movement is a psychedelic garage rock band from Australia. Led by singer/songwriter and guitarist Daniel Poulter, the group emerged in 2002 and is completed by bassist Ricky Drabsch, keyboardist Martin Wawlters and drummer Christopher Rudge. The Dolly Rocker Movement took its time perfecting a blend 1960s rock and roll and 1990s neo-psych before releasing its debut album, Electric Sunshine in 2006. Along with the band's follow-up LP A Purple Journey Throug hthe Mod Machine, which was release later the same year, the debut album earned the group an international following among classic psychedelic rock audiences that has continued to grow with each subsequent offering.
