About
Jordy Asher is an electronic soul artist, rapper and producer who crafts his own music under the name BOOTS. Though he first made a name for himself in the popular music industry as a producer for Beyonce's acclaimed self-titled LP, he struck out as a solo artist on Jay-Z's imprint Roc Nation and eventually released his first mixtape, WinterSpringSummerFall, in 2014. Offering a more experimental style than any of his previous work, he stood apart from his peers as a musician who isn't afraid to tamper with the more psychedelic and dissonant aspects of electronica. BOOTS dropped his debut EP, Motorcycle Jesus, with Atlantic Records in 2015.
