Hailing from Denver, Strawberry Runners is an indie rock band that crafts a powerful combination of uplifting instrumentation and dark lyricism. Front-woman Emi Knight lends the band much of its duality with her poignant melodies and autobiographical lyrics of trauma and abuse, which she channels into evocative songwriting. While most indie pop bands fail to come across as authentic, Strawberry Runners manages to remain honest with true human experiences at its core.
