Former member of the indie rock bands Owls and Joan of Arc, Tim Kinsella is a Chicago-based artist who is known for his outstanding singing voice. Having played numerous shows with his different bands, Kinsella entered his solo career with the knowledge of how to wow audiences. As a writer, he impresses with unapologetically honest lyrics. He released his first album, He Sang His Didn't He Dance His, in 2001. In 2011, he released his first book, The Karaoke Singer's Guide to Self-Defense.
