Dunsinane follows the events that took place in the aftermath of William Shakespeare's Macbeth. Written by award-winning dramatist David Greig, this exhilarating sequel draws parallels between the English earl Siward's attempts at restoring peace in a country ravaged by war and the bloodshed taking place in present-day Afghanistan and Iraq. The production premiered at the Hampstead Theatre, London in 2010 and featured actors Siobhan Redmond and Jonny Philips in the lead roles. Its radio adaption included original songs by musician Nick Powell and premiered on BBC Radio 3 in 2011. The play has also been performed in theaters in Scotland, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Russia and the USA.
