Cholet Basket is one of the basketball clubs that participate in the LNB Pro A. It is based in Cholet, a commune in western France. It was formed in 1975 and was quick to establish itself as a worthy competitor in the game. In a span of twelve years, the club climbed its way into the top-tier basketball competition of the country and has held on to the position ever since. It has built quite a track record for itself by competing in the EuroLeague on multiple occasions and by winning major competitions like La Semaine des As Cup, French Cup and the LNB Pro A league. The club plays its home games at La Meilleraie.
