Contrary to what its name suggests, Détroit is a soft rock duo from France that's composed of Bertrard Cantat and Pascal Humbert. After playing together in the rock band Passion Fodder in the late 1980s and moving on to form their own outfits, the two artists teamed up in 2012 under a seasoned, heart wrenching style. Détroit released its debut album, Horizons, in 2013, capturing the attention of singer/songwriter audiences throughout Europe, particularly in Belgium and Switzerland. The duo dropped its follow-up LP, La Cigale, in 2014.
