The team plays its home games at the Estadio Municipal Rumiñahui Sangolquí and competes in the Ecuadorian Serie A league. The club has built a respectable track record for itself by winning the Serie B title and by delivering impressive performances in many other major competitions. One of the major milestones in the team’s career was winning the Copa Sudamericana.
