Eric Reed Boucher is a spoken word poet and punk rock musician who operates under the name Jello Biafra. Best-known for his work as the lead singer of the San Francisco-based punk outfit Dead Kennedys, he has fostered the punk rock community not only with his own music but also through his imprint Alternative Tentacles. While Dead Kennedys disbanded for a second time in 2001, Biafra continues to release music with his own band, Jello Biafra and the Guantanamo School of Medicine.
