One of the oldest and most decorated baseball clubs in the Dominican Republic, Tigres del Licey competes in the Dominican Professional Baseball League and has been a dominant force since its formation in 1907. Hailing from Santo Domingo, it is affectionately known as “El Glorioso” and plays its home fixtures at the Estadio Quisqueya. With the most Carribean World Series and Dominican WInter League trophies to its credit, it has featured many famous MLB stars in its roster including José Jiménez, Manny Mota and Aramis Ramírez.
