F.C. Copenhagen is one of Denmark's most successful football clubs. Founded in 1992, the club wasted little time in making its presence felt in the top division as went on to claim the championship in its debut season. Within the next decade, it established itself as one of the country's top teams after winning several Danish Football Championships, DBU Pokalen and Danish Super Cups. F.C. Copenhagen has also featured in the UEFA Champions League and has often been Denmark's flag-bearer in European competitions.
