The stage version of the 2003 hit film Calendar Girls was met with wild success after its 2009 debut in London's West End. The play tells the story of an elderly group of women who inadvertently cause a stir with their semi-nude calendar, which was created to raise money for a recently widowed friend at a local chapter of the Women's Institute in rural England. What follows is a heated series of events as the women cause national stir with their sell-out calendar.
