FC Viktoria Plzeň, which is also known as “Viktorka” amongst its fans, is one of the sixteen clubs that participate in the Czech First League, which is the top-tier football championship of the country. It plays its home games at Doosan Arena and is based in the city of Plzeň. The club was founded in 1911 and played under the name SK Viktoria Plzeň, it started using the current name in 1993. The club’s first major victory was winning the Czech National Football League title in 2003 followed by the Czech Cup in 2010. The club’s most successful spell came between 2011 to 2018 - a period in which it won the Czech First League five times.
