About
Sugaray Rayford is a blues guitarist and harmonica player who crafts a modern blues-rock style. Having grown up in the small town of Tyler, TX, he was introduced to music through the gospel and soul traditions of his church. After relocating to San Diego and discovering R&B and funk, he honed his massive, deep voice and has since continued to lend various outfits his dynamic vocal stylings and soul-infused instrumentation. Along with his own backing band Sugaray Rayford Band, he released his first solo record Blind Alley, in 2010.
