Born in Northern Ireland, Beverley Mahood is a Candian singer/songwriter and television personality who debuted her country pop sound on the 1998 album, Girl Out of the Ordinary. After hosting the Citytv Vancouver morning show Breakfast Television, during the mid-2000s, she went on to co-host the country music channel CMT Canada's show CMT Central. A modern country staple in her adopted home country, Mahood continues to release new material, such as the 2013 record, Hope and Gasoline.
