Funk Trek is a band from Omaha, Nebraska that blends a loose funk instrumental approach with a unique jazz fusion. Founded in 2008, the group built a reputation for itself as an engaging live act with shows that typically feature a good deal of improvisation and fluid melodic construction. While Funk Trek has primarily established itself with its captivating stage shows, the band has also released a string of well-received studio efforts, beginning with its 2010 debut LP, Voyager.
