Cowgirl's Train Set is a band from Lawrence, KS that performs a style of music it has dubbed "bluesy boogie gypsy punkgrass." Founded in 2009 by banjoist Chad Buck and guitarist Mike Calvillo, the group's lineup has fluctuate frequently, turning the band into a collective of sorts, but Cowgirl's Train Set has nevertheless managed to hold onto its original sound and unique approach to songwriting.
