The brainchild of front man Tyler Hayden, The Royal is a melodic hardcore band from Denver, CO. Formed in 2012 with the additions of Eric Marshall, Jack Schuler, Matt Clark and Colby Rogers, the band quickly fired off its first offering, the 2012 EP Origins. Powered by Hayden's poignant lyrics and a metalcore sonic aesthetic, the EP helped earn The Royal recognition around its regional music scene.
