Of Danish and Antillian descent, Dennis Princewell Stehr, or Mr. Probz, is a hip-hop artist, producer and songwriter from the Netherlands. With his distinctive voice and introspective style, Mr. Probz is both a celebrated solo artist and collaborator in the Netherlands as well as the United States, where he worked with musicians such as Alchemist, Joe Budden, Scott Storch and Raekwon. Generating millions of YouTube views, he built up a loyal, international following. In 2010, while he was still an unsigned artist on the rise, fate struck when he was shot in the streets of Amsterdam. He went on to make a come back musically, scoring a number one hit with "Meisje Luister," a collaboration with rapper Kleine Viezerik. Mr. Probz finally earne widespread recognition with the release of his 2013 album The Treatment, which featured the single "Waves."
