La Equidad

Club Deportivo La Equidad Seguros, which is popularly known as La Equidad, was founded in 1982 in Bogota. It plays its home games at Estadio Metropolitano de Techo and competes in Categoría Primera A which is the top-most tournament in the country. Its career started with an amateur tournament in Bogota named Hexagonal del Olaya. Although it did not win that tournament, it went on to win much bigger and important games in its career including the Copa Colombia and Categoría Primera B. Its performances in the Categoría Primera A games are equally amazing and is one of the reasons why the IFFHS had included Club Deportivo in its list of top 100 football clubs in the world.
