Envigado Fútbol Club competes in the topmost football league of Columbia - the Categoría Primera A. The team is also known by its nicknames “El Equipo Naranja” (The Orange Team) and “Cantera de Héroes” (Cantera of Heroes). It plays its home games at Polideportivo Sur stadium. The club was founded in 1989 in the town of Envigado based in the Antioquia department. Throughout its career, the team has won the Categoría Primera B title multiple times and has also earned the reputation for moulding many talented young football players into skilled performers.
