Cure for Gravity is the brainchild of Berkeley,CA-based artist Joe Markert. Though the outfit began as a solo project, Cure for Gravity soon evolved into a complete band in 2008 when Markert recruited drummer Chris Gamper and guitarist Dave Walcott to help him realize his blend of electronic elements and alternative rock.
