The Paper Kites is a folk pop outfit that hails from Melbourne, Australia. Initially formed by vocalists, guitarists and keyboardists Sam Bentley and Christina Lacy in 2009, the band soon evolved into a five-piece outfit and harnessed a dark, ethereal sound on its 2013 debut LP, States.
