The Colombian team Club Deportivo Atlético Huila S.A., which is popularly known as Atletico Huila, competes in the Categoría Primera B which is the second-tier football competition of the country. Loyal fans of the team refer to it by nicknames like "Los Opitas" and "Bambuqueros." The team plays its home games at Guillermo Plazas Alcid stadium and features a roster comprising impressive players like Juan Fernando Caicedo, Nelson Barahona, Rafael Castillo and many more. It was founded in 1990 in Neiva which is situated in the Department of Huila. The team holds multiple Categoría Primera B titles and were also runners up in the Categoría Primera A league.
