SMLH is an American artist from Hillsborough, NC who creates a distinctive brand of lo-fi rock music. After accumulating a catalog of goofy middle school and high school grade demos, 17 year old Sam Higgins developed a unique sound which led him to start the solo endeavor in 2013. At times, it's hard to identify SMLH's output; his early 2014 release Singles Vol 1., for example, includes both introspective pop tunes and irreverent songs.
