Club Universidad de Chile is a Chilean football club representing the national capital Santiago in the Primera División. It has amassed a significant fan-following since its establishment in 1900 and is one of the most popular clubs in the country. It has been highly successful throughout its existence and has numerous domestic and continental accolades to its name, including Primera División and Copa Chile titles, as well as a Copa Sudamericana trophy. It has produced many prolific players over the years such as Eduardo Vargas.
