Elizabeth McQueen is an artist from Austin who has mastered the balance between making music and nurturing her family life. Known for traveling the country with her children in tow, on a tour bus known as the "Baby Bus," she channels her motherly affection into her music, resulting in an intimate, soulful sound that lands somewhere between jazz and Americana. With rootsy overtones, she released her debut album The Fesh-Up Club, in 2003, before allowing her classic jazz vocals to take the lead on subsequent records, including 2010's The Laziest Girl In Town.
