Raz Simone

Seattle-based artist Raz Simone is a distinctive voice in the rising hip-hop community of the Pacific Northwest. After realizing he was essentially rapping through his spoken-word poetry, he partnered with Sam Lachow to create the EP, 5 Good Reasons, in 2012. The album spawned a modest tour, giving Simone a taste of the road and a glimpse of how music could propel his poetry into vast audiences. He released his debut solo EP, Solomon Samuel Simone, in 2013 and has since continued to push the limits of modern rap music.
