Ronald Jay Blumenthal is a prolific American guitarist, producer, songwriter and engineer who is affectionately known as Bumblefoot. After building a reputation around his hometown of Staten Island and eventually the rest of the country, he rose to international recognition in 2006 when he joined Guns N' Roses by recommendation from fellow guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani. In addition to his various contributions and collaborations, he has also released an impressive amount of solo material, including his 1995 solo debut, The Adventures of Bumblefoot.
