Club Deportivo Palestino is a football club from Santiago, Chile, that competes in the Campeonato Nacional. Also known as “Árabes” and “Tino” the club was formed in 1920 and derives its name from the Palestinian immigrants that founded this club. The club has been very successful and has won the Primera Division and Copa Chile including the famous national league & cup double of 1978. The club plays its home games at the Estadio Municipal de La Cisterna and has featured former South American Footballer of the Year, Elías Figueroa in its roster.
