Born to a Colombian father and an American mother, Pheonix Mendoza is a Nashville-based artist who blends classic R&B with the blues. Beginning his musical education on trumpet, he soon found the guitar and made his way from California to Tennessee, where he captivated an already rich music community with his cross-genre style.
