Volta Redonda Futebol Clube, which is mostly referred to as Volta Redonda, is a professional football club which was founded in 1976. It is based in the city of Volta Redonda and uses the Estádio Raulino de Oliveira for its home games. The team can be seen competing in Campeonato Brasileiro Série C football championships and also in Rio’s top-tier competition, the Campeonato Carioca. Throughout its multi-decade spanning career, Volta Redonda has achieved many notable victories in Campeonato Carioca Série B1 and in the Copa Rio games.
