Olaria, formally known as Olaria Atlético Clube, is one of the professional football teams that compete in Campeonato Carioca Série B1. The team plays its home games at Estádio da Rua Bariri. When it was founded in 1915, it was known as Japonês Futebol Clube, but it was changed to its current name in the following year. Rio was always the home of many of the country’s popular football teams, but Olaria still managed to grab the attention with its impressive performances and multiple victories in the Campeonato Carioca Série B1 Series. At the peak of Olaria’s career, it was one of the teams that played in the 1974 Série A championships.
